WIN FULL SCHOLARSHIP: Join the #GoGlobalNG Campaign

The Global School of Language and Culture in partnership with the West African Youth Exchange Council WAYEC is inviting young people to join the #GoGlobalNG Campaign.

The Campaign is aimed at creating awareness on the role of language skills and cross cultural competence in accessing global opportunities.

Participants of the campaign stand a chance of winning FULL SCHOLARSHIP to learn any foreign language of their choice (French, German, Chinese, Spanish, Yoruba, and Sign Language).

There is more to win. The Overall winner for the campaign will win FULL SCHOLARSHIP to attend 2019 West African Cultural Immersion Program to Benin Republic.

ARE YOU READY? Here’s how to join the campaign:

  1. Make a 1 minute video of yourself explaining how learning a foreign language will empower you to access global opportunities.
  2. Kindly upload the video on your social media platform (Facebook and/or Instagram) using the below format

I am ‘Name’ . I’m interested in learning a foreign language at @GlobalSchoolAfrica because ‘ your reason’

For example: I am Wood Plank. I’m interested in learning a foreign language at @GlobalSchoolAfrica because I believe learning a foreign language will strengthen my global competence. #GoGlobalNG www.globalschool.com.ng

WINNING OFFERS:

Overall winner: Full Scholarship to learn any foreign language of choice and fully sponsored participation at the 2019 West Africa Cultural Immersion Program (Summer batch).

Winners (2): One winner per learning centres. (i.e. Lagos and Ibadan)

Finalists (6): Three finalists per learning centres will win 50% partial scholarship.

Runner Ups (10): Five runner ups per learning centres will win 30% partial scholarship.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

1.Quality of content shared in the video.

2. Duration of video: ability to effectively communicate your reasons within the allocated time.

3. Presentation skills

4. Viewers comments and interaction with your content may also be considered but not necessarily a key judging criteria.

Entry starts: Monday 10th of June

Entry closes: 11:59pm, Friday 28th June.
